What area do you cover?

We work nationwide covering the whole of the UK, Wales and Scotland.

Do you work on lined ponds or lakes?

As a rule, no. The reason being is we use some form of machinery for all our applications therefore if you have a butyl or fabric liner the risks of damage can be very high. Clay lining is typically fine.

What size waterbodies do you work on?

Our area of expertise is around the large pond and lake sizes up to many acres, we do not work on smaller garden ponds as all of our methods are using some form of machinery.

Do you offer site visits?

Yes, however this all depends on the specific project. Some cases site visits are not required, we have many years of experience and in a lot of the cases we are able to identify points from just pictures and information. Our team will work with you to decide if this is a requirement or not.

How often should I have my pond or lake maintained?

Maintenance frequency depends on the size, location, use of your pond or lake and what growing in the water.

As a general rule having the lake cleared once per season Regular will help prevent algae blooms, silt build-up, and poor water quality.

Do I need to remove silt from my pond?

Yes - over time, silt builds up and reduces water depth, oxygen levels, and overall health. If your pond is shallow, smells bad, or supports less wildlife, it may be time to consider silt removal or dredging. We provide both mechanical and low-impact options.

Can you help with overgrown vegetation or invasive species?

Absolutely! We manage a range of vegetation issues including duckweed, blanket weed, bulrush, floating pennywort and many more. Our approach is tailored to the environment and always considers long-term ecological balance.

What is pond dredging and do I need it?

Dredging removes accumulated silt and organic matter that can smother aquatic life and reduce water volume.

When is the best time of year for pond maintenance or restoration?

Autumn and early spring are ideal for major works, but maintenance can be done year-round. We avoid disrupting wildlife during sensitive periods like spawning or nesting seasons, and our teams are very aware of wildlife and put measures in place to ensure we are causing little disruption.

Do you offer one-off visits or ongoing maintenance contracts?

Both! Whether you need a one-off clean up, a year-round maintenance plan, or annual visits we can create a service package that suits your needs and budget.

How much does pond or lake maintenance cost?

Costs vary depending on the size of your waterbody, the services required, and accessibility. For an accurate quote, we recommend firstly sending us an email with all the details including any photos or videos of the area, if we feel it's needed we will arrange a site visit where we assess your waterbody and needs.
